The Caela Farmer FunD Fest 2004

A labor of love…

The reason many of you are probably visiting Caela’s website is to learn more about the Caela Farmer FunD Fest 2004. This event is a reality because of the commitment and hard work of many special people in our life, from Caela’s speech therapist, who first conceived the idea of planning a benefit, to total strangers, many who are friends of our friends, who have lent their assistance to some of the behind-the- scenes effort. We know this outpouring of kindness will culminate in a celebration that will be an enjoyable and memorable event for all who attend. We hope that you will be able to join us on September 26^th from 1-5pm at the Carousel House in Philadelphia ( directions available here) and become part of the community that is giving life to the Caela Farmer Bright Future Fund.

Feel free to print out this page and hang one on your frig or pass along a few copies...we're happy to extend the invitation to your family members, friends, and co-workers.  If after learning a little more about Caela and the benefit being planned in her honor, you would like to contribute to her fund, there are several ways you can do so:

 Enter to win a New Panasonic GS70 Digital Camcorder
 Send in a charitable contribution.
 Enter Car show

All of these options are available through our Donations page, as well as on the day of the event.  Donations can be made online through PayPal or by mailing in the online donation form with your contribution.   We truly appreciate any support you can offer.

There’s more?

Yes, there is plenty more. Thanks to the goodwill of individuals, businesses, and organizations from around the tri-state area, we have a growing number of unique and distinctive donated items and services (Sample List) that will be part of the silent auction and raffle drawings at the Caela Farmer FunD Fest 2004. Guests at the benefit can bid on the silent auction items or buy raffle tickets for the items they would like to win; all winners will be announced at 4:00pm.   If you would like to donate an item or service to help us raise funds for Caela, please email us at info@brightfuturefund.org.  For those of you joining us at the benefit, raffle ticket prices will be posted soon on this website, so keep checking back for more information and items newly donated for the auction or raffles. Not just another sit-down dinner…

For those of you who came last year, you know the FunD Fest had a little something for everyone. 

There will be a Ford Probe Car Show outside of the Carousel House during the benefit.  Everyone at the FunD Fest is invited to check out these cool cars and vote on their favorites.
